12 Main Street North
The Speight family built this Victorian picturesque house circa 1870. The Speights operated on of the largest wagon manufactories in Ontario on the adjacent property to the north. The wagon works was established by Thomas Speight of Yorkshire, England, in 1830. This home was rented to the factory forman, Robert McKay.
